I feel I must write to you a letter that you may like to put to your customers. As you know I missed on a couple of your cars because of a car I was selling . However a lovely looking car came up on trade me .It was in North Auckland. I rang the older owner and found he had brought the car off a neighbour, I asked him about any rust problems . He said any rust that was there had been cut out and repaired properly. It had just been re upholstered and as the paintwork was original he had only the mudguards resprayed. It had new tyres and new wheel cylinders and brakes relined. As it had been in storage for 8yrs it had to be certified. But where he lived he said would pose a problem for getting it to the testing station. He said would I get it done from my end. He said everything had been done and it would fly through.I said I would and got it Transported to Palmerston North. When it arrived the first thing the transporter driver said was be carefull it has very poor brakes. Then takingit up a small rise to get it into my garage the clutch was slipping badly. The paint was far from original and the mudgaurds had been sprayed with an aerosol can . These are just a few problems with the car. I rang the seller up told him how disapointed I was and said if I transport it back to him will he refund my money. He said no. As all the dealings I had with him were on the phone and nothing in writing. My hands were tied. Not all Trade Me sellers are honest. Make sure you go to Waimak Classic Cars who I know deal in quality cars.

I had been trying to sell my classic car through “Trademe” for months with no success. A couple of people had mentioned Jesmond so in desperation I contacted him. He very promptly arranged to inspect the car and having already done his homework gave me an idea of what he could sell the car for and confirmed it in writing a day later. The “on behalf” deal was written up and I knew what was happening at all times with constant correspondence. The car sold in a couple of weeks and everything was taken care of by Jesmond. I am very happy with the result and felt I could trust him from the moment I met him. He's too trust-worthy to be a car dealer. He's more a car lover who helps others move on from their indulgences.

I have purchased many vehicles over the years, but never have I been treated as a friend rather than just another customer like Jesmond treated me on purchasing my classic car. A good honest chap with no pressure to buy, and quality classic vehicles that have been thoroughly vetted by himself before he even considers adding them to his vast inventory. If you are considering purchasing a classic car as an investment ,you can't go wrong with Jesmond and Gloria. Another satisfied customer

Jesmond and Gloria I happened to read some of the testimonials posted on your website and after our recent dealings feel compelled to add my two cents worth despite the fact I never usually give written testimonials other than in my work environment .Firstly I have to say that everything I have read pretty much sums up your combined service and approach to selling and buying of the classic cars you represent .Secondly having brought two cars , one sight unseen, and sold two cars in the last 12 months I can only reiterate the comments of others regarding your honesty and integrity and good communication. As for Gloria's attention to getting the logistics arranged smoothly and other follow up given the unfortunate delivery issue with one of the cars I bought, I cannot say enough and appreciate the efforts .It truly is a pleasure working with you on my NZ fleet of vehicles. Having also had the chance to meet you and spend a few hours looking at and talking classic cars during my last visit to NZ it is a pleasure to see someone else with the same passion and knowledge of classic cars .I see that your business is not just a business but is a passion to do the right thing by the people you are working with, be they buyers or sellers and also to do the right thing by the cars you sell .Given we are now working on another sell and buy opportunity I am sure we will continue to have more dealings in the future as my little fleet takes further shape Best Regards
