I have had a yearning to purchase a vintage or classic car for a number of years and have read Classic Car magazines and trolled internet auction sites until I came to the Waimak Classic Cars Web site. There was a certain classic car listed that was very close to marque and vintage of my first car I ever owned. It was early 50s English favourite. I contacted Jesmond by email as an initial inquiry and he responded promptly and gave me background of the vehicle in addition to what was described on the web site. Obviously an inspection was vital. With then roading problems between Marlborough and Canterbury a convenient time to visit Waimak was agreed given we decided to include a family visit to CHCH to coincide Jesmond was extremely flexible and agreed to meet us in Rangiora to take us to his display site. It certainly was a pleasure to meet both Jesmond and Gloria and it was clear from the outset we were dealing with very good honest and genuine people.
We did not purchase the vehicle of initial choice. Whilst a lovely car heart was not where the head was. It just would not fit in my garages!
After inspecting and admiring many fine examples we fell in love with a rare for NZ near finished restored 1947 Rover P2. The purchase including a service plus up to date warrant and registration was completed and Gloria arranged the transport of the vehicle to us here in Blenheim. I could not fault the professionalism coupled with warm friendly attitude of both Jesmond and Gloria and strongly commend them to anyone seeking a purchase and or sale of their classic car. Post purchase communication and advice was excellent.

Hello Jesmond, It's been 2 weeks since the Alfa Sprint arrived, and we have covered around 750 km in that time. We are both loving driving the car, and are so glad that we managed to find such an amazingly original example of this classic model. The Alfa is absolutely correct to your description, and we would like to sincerely thank you for carrying out the sale process in such an efficient and correct manner; everything you promised was done, and it was delivered ahead of time, so that we could display it at the major Blenheim Classic Car day as we had hoped. We would certainly recommend you, and Waimak Classic Cars as excellent to deal with.

My father recently turned 80. He had worked hard all his life and gave his children everything and taken nothing. He had always dreamed of owning a E Type Jag and talked about the cars with such affection when we were kids. So between the team at WCC and I we made his dream come true as a surprise on his birthday. The team at WCC were professional, responsive and a pleasure to deal with. I never even sighted the car but they had it independently assessed, repaired a few minor issues, assisted with transport and we did all this over a very short time frame. I would thoroughly recommend WCC as a family business you can trust and I could not recommend them more highly. Thank you for helping me make my fathers dream come true!

I have purchased many vehicles over the years, but never have I been treated as a friend rather than just another customer like Jesmond treated me on purchasing my classic car. A good honest chap with no pressure to buy, and quality classic vehicles that have been thoroughly vetted by himself before he even considers adding them to his vast inventory. If you are considering purchasing a classic car as an investment ,you can't go wrong with Jesmond and Gloria. Another satisfied customer

Gloria and team...Thank you!...From my parents driveway in Rangiora New Zealand to the Lincolnshire Wolds in England....... your care and attention has been so supportive and more than just a job. You have helped transport a car and memories. Without your help at Waimak Classic Cars, this journey for the 1974 MGB would have been more difficult, or still just a dream. Thank you for making this dream come true. Can not thank you enough.
