The 1970 Chevrolet C/K is one of the most popular, reliable, and easiest-to-drive classic pickups you can find. This particular generation marks the turning point when Chevy realised it could offer truck buyers modern conveniences and comfort options in the same way it did sedan shoppers—a stunningly simple connection to make in retrospect, but one that blew the market wide open during a time when primary rival Ford steadfastly refusing to build anything other than the most utilitarian models for work use.
The end result was a sales phenomenon that would see GM prolong its dominance over the Blue Oval well into the mid-’70s, pushing millions of examples of this generation of truck out of the factories and onto the roads, farm fields, and dusty barns. These trucks proved that you didn’t have to suffer a tin can cabin or a kidney-busting ride to get the job done.

- Yep, simple all around. Nothing complicated, just the basics. Fuel, spark, air. Just about all the parts for this model can still be bought, including body panels. Oh, and it's fun too!
- First Registered in new Zealand in 2008
- Beautiful, rust free condition. Good paintwork.

- Really good truck - drives beautifully - then again what can you expect from an old school V8?

It’s hard to think of a more novice-friendly classic vehicle than the 1967–72 Chevrolet C/K and this truck can easily be used as a daily driver if one wanted to.

Waimak Classic Cars is not aware of any specific defects with the vehicle, however (a) such a vehicle being a classic vehicle may have mechanical breakdowns, electrical failures at inconvenient times and maintenance costs being part of and parcel of ownership of a classic car; (b) reliability is a combination of the particular nature of the classic vehicle, how it is being driven, how it has been maintained, and to a certain extent luck.
The Purchaser acknowledges that the vehicle is being sold as a classic car; that in terms of the Act and the nature of the goods, the vehicle, is an old car that may have faults, unlike a modern motor vehicle.
The Purchaser is encouraged to personally fully inspect the vehicle and/or to have the vehicle inspected, fully assessed and maintained by an experienced classic car mechanic.
The Purchaser acknowledges that they have read and fully understand this notification and the nature of a car which is many years old.
