• Circa 1922 Packard Twin Six Series III 3-35 Sportster, riding on Packard’s substantial 136-inch wheelbase and powered by the marque’s renowned Twin Six engine.

• Originally imported into Auckland from Texas in 1992 as a barn find, together with another Packard that would subsequently undergo restoration alongside it.
• The car was extensively restored and re bodied during the 1990s and early 2000s at the Monterey Park Museum restoration workshop in New Zealand.
• The restoration and coachwork were undertaken to an impressive standard, with the body constructed by highly experienced craftsmen, including two English restorers who had previously worked together for Rolls-Royce in the UK before relocating to New Zealand.
• The front section of the body is understood to have been modeled on the Packard 3-35 Twin Six Roadster, while the rear bodywork was specially designed and fabricated during the New Zealand restoration.
