Description
Styled by Giovanni Michelotti, here's a car that was built 25 years ahead of its time.
Stylish, airy, comfortable, lively, smooth, quiet, economical and handles well: an outstandingly complete package.
The last of the independently developed Triumph saloons, the 2000 and 2500 make for stylish, classic transport today. A lot of people under rate these cars but its good to see their prices on the rise, as they deserve nothing less.
ABOUT THIS CAR
- The car is sound, goes and presents very well for age.
- Looks very authentic with right wheels etc.
- Original interior in very good condition.
- Body straight and seems to be clean of rust. No blistering anywhere or marks on paint. In fact, paintwork is in very nice condition. We know that it had a paint job circa 15 years ago.
- Mechanically sound. No issues with injection system or anything else for that matter.
- Car drives and performs beautifully. No unduly noises or anything of the sort.
- New door rubbers.
- A good, well-maintained example of a 50+ year old car.
- We really have nothing negative to say about it and should give a new owner many years of use and enjoyment. Interested parties are welcome to personally inspect or get it professionally appraised by an independent specialist garage.
- An exciting reliable solid car suitable also for daily use.

Waimak Classic Cars accepts that the vehicle being sold must be of “acceptable quality” in terms of section 7 of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (the Act) having regard to “the nature of the goods”.
Waimak Classic Cars is not aware of any specific defects with the vehicle, however (a) such a vehicle being a classic vehicle may have mechanical breakdowns, electrical failures at inconvenient times and maintenance costs being part of and parcel of ownership of a classic car; (b) reliability is a combination of the particular nature of the classic vehicle, how it is being driven, how it has been maintained, and to a certain extent luck.
The Purchaser acknowledges that the vehicle is being sold as a classic car; that in terms of the Act and the nature of the goods, the vehicle, is an old car that may have faults, unlike a modern motor vehicle.
The Purchaser is encouraged to personally fully inspect the vehicle and/or to have the vehicle inspected, fully assessed and maintained by an experienced classic car mechanic.
The Purchaser acknowledges that they have read and fully understand this notification and the nature of a car which is many years old.
