Waimak Classic Cars offer luxury wedding car hire for comfortable, stylish transport to wedding venues throughout the Canterbury region. We have a range of well-maintained, classics that are perfect for weddings, or special occasions. Wedding car includes ribbons, but we can also provide a food and drink hamper, at an extra cost.
The Bride can arrive in a Classic or Vintage car and photos afterwards can be either inside our museum, at Waimak Classic Car grounds, or the beach.
On site catering including canapés right through to a full buffet and cake cutting, all easily arranged, keeping the wedding party together and enjoying the ambience of the museum and grounds.
Your special day will be complete with a classic wedding car waiting for you when you leave the church or venue. It’s an elegant touch that your guests will appreciate and inspire them to take more photos, not to mention how romantic it is to watch the newly married couple drive off, slowly, in a beautifully presented classic car whilst waving to their guests.
Choose from our beautiful 1960 Jaguar MK 1X if you love British Classics, or our 1973 Cadillac DeVille Sedan if you fancy something American, or our 2011 Jaguar XJL if you’re after something more modern. There’s also the 1929 Hudson Greater Eight if you’re after something a little vintage.

Waimak Classic cars provide service second to none and always work within your budget.
The museum is spacious and can hold 120 people seated, or 170 standing. The museum and grounds are a photographers dream, tucked away close to the beach, (only a 10 minute walk) with a classic car atmosphere. There’s a little cottage with veranda and garden path, ready for props and photos of the bride and groom!
Our cars are also available to hire for Balls, Formals, Birthdays, Anniversaries, North Canterbury Tours or other Special Occasions.
