Hi Jesmond & Gloria, Confirming my email of earlier today the Jag arrived early this morning understandably extremely dirty after weathering the worst storm to hit the country so far this year while being freighted, but has washed up beautifully and we look forward to taking it for a spin or two – or three – over the next couple of days before the next storm hits the country. We have nothing but praise for the professional way in which you both dealt with us – right from when we turned up in ChCh to take a look at the Jag – storing it for a few weeks for us and arranging the freighting of it to Palmerston North. The whole process was totally flawless and after having purchased a vintage/classic car from you cannot imagine buying an older car any other way than through Waimak Classic Cars. Dear Gloria and Jesmond, we are very happy with our recently purchased Daimler Sovereign and thank you for the helpful and supportive way you have enabled us to complete the purchase transactions. For us, this was the first time we bought sight unseen. It was also the first time we have used a transporter to convey our our purchase home. Needless to say, the vehicle, on arrival, was found to be in the excellent condition relative to age which we had come to anticipate. Over the last 30 years I have had many exotic cars, but I have only recently become interested in classic cars. This interest led me to Waimak Classic Cars website and subsequent visit to Jesmond and Gloria’s premises in Rangiora. Good morning Jesmond and Gloria. Just to let you know the Jag is now in Kerikeri. Picked it up from Capital City Ford on Sunday as arranged. They contacted me last Friday to say it was there and that they had given it a wash. (Nice of them). We took the trip North over three days and arrived home last night. Travelled 1000kms with no hitches. Yesterday was a good test for its water tightness as we had periods of torrential rain between Auckland and Kerikeri. No problems at all though.

Hi Gloria & Jesmond, i couldn’t wait for next week to get the car so on a whim i flew down and picked the car up from Wellington, i must say apart from the flight lol it was the most enjoyable day i have had in a long while, and on my way home i had heaps of beeps, toots and thumbs up from other travellers and well wishers who were obviously admiring the car. The car is everything you and J described it as and much much more, my wife who isnt a huge car fan absolutely loves it as well………….so once again many thanks for you help and service.

We bought a sports car from Waimak Classic Cars earlier this month. As we do not live in Rangiora, most of our dealing had to be with them by phone.
Gloria was extremely helpful – laying to rest any fears we had on the reputation of the company. She went out of her way to give us the information we needed and more. She was honest in giving answers e.g. she warned us that the car may not suit a very tall person and gave us records and photographs to assist in the purchase. Both Gloria and Jesmond were incredibly pleasant, easy to deal with, did what they said they would do, and we would thoroughly recommend any one to do business with them. The car has been a great success – in perfect condition and my wife has fallen in love with it. What an amazing selection of cars they have.

Dear Gloria and Jesmond, Thank you for a most enjoyable experience while purchasing the Velox. This model is very rare, my research shows there are only four 1950 cars at this time that are registered in the UK . What a great surprise when it was delivered on the transporter for it looked magnificent, my neighbour next door came running out to admire it together with the transporter driver. The shipping went without a hitch, as you recommended Natasha to handle the red tape at Southampton, she managed to establish historical ruling with HMRC which saved me a considerable amount of money in import taxes. We would recommend you to anybody looking to buy a vintage or indeed any car from yourselves, whether buying unseen as myself or otherwise.
