Description
The Wolseley Motor Company was a British automobile manufacturer founded in 1901. After 1935 it was incorporated into larger companies but the Wolseley name remained as an upmarket marque until 1975.
The Wolseley 1500 was based on the Morris Minor floorpan, suspension and steering but fitted with the larger 1489 cc B-Series engine and MG Magnette gearbox. It had a top speed of 76.7 mph (123.4 km/h) and could accelerate from 0-60 mph (97 km/h) in 24.8 seconds.
This has to be one of the finest Wolseleys in the country. Its an absolute dream to drive.
I have had the pleasure to own of owning and presenting this car to the market twice and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good, economical, low maintenance, small classic car that can handle today's traffic with the simplest of ease. It would be hard to find better.
Car was completely restored a few years ago.
Rust free body straight as an arrow. As you can see from photos, its got a VERY GOOD paint job.
EXCELLENT interior. New carpets, Leather seats, Wooden dashboard. New hood lining.
New Tires. Good Battery – Good rubber throughout. Motor overhauled, gearbox, brakes, diff done etc. History receipts and photographic records available. It has had a total of six owners. Odometer in Miles.

Waimak Classic Cars accepts that the vehicle being sold must be of “acceptable quality” in terms of section 7 of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (the Act) having regard to “the nature of the goods”.
Waimak Classic Cars is not aware of any specific defects with the vehicle, however (a) such a vehicle being a classic vehicle may have mechanical breakdowns, electrical failures at inconvenient times and maintenance costs being part of and parcel of ownership of a classic car; (b) reliability is a combination of the particular nature of the classic vehicle, how it is being driven, how it has been maintained, and to a certain extent luck.
The Purchaser acknowledges that the vehicle is being sold as a classic car; that in terms of the Act and the nature of the goods, the vehicle, is an old car that may have faults, unlike a modern motor vehicle.
The Purchaser is encouraged to personally fully inspect the vehicle and/or to have the vehicle inspected, fully assessed and maintained by an experienced classic car mechanic.
The Purchaser acknowledges that they have read and fully understand this notification and the nature of a car which is many years old.
