Sold Triumph 2.5 PI 1975

Triumph 2.5 PI 1975

Just occasionally, a really superb example of a marque appears for sale and this is it.

This car is in stunning condition having been fanatically very well cared for all its life. It will be hard to see or find another example like it.

It has done 66323kms from new and maintained regardless of cost. It was rust inhibited with wax oil and there is no rust whatsoever.

The paintwork is original and still has a deep, rich lustre with NO fading. All the rubbers, trims, external trim are in very good condition.

The interior is faultless and doesn't have the slightest imperfection. It has factory seats and carpets. The mechanics are perfect, it doesn't use oil, water or drip any fluids. It comes with the original toolkit and owner's manual.

The tyres and battery are nearly new and car has been recently serviced. This car drives like new.

The fuel system of this car had been professionally converted from fuel injectors to twin carburetors by Collett & Fleming of Auckland.(Invoice of work carried out available). Anyone who knows the PI's understands that the original fuel system of these cars wasn't very reliable. Most of them were in fact converted to carbs. Nevertheless, all original fuel injection parts are available and will go with car.

This car would appeal to someone who wants the best and I would prefer if it goes to an enthusiast, its too good not to.

Service history available.
