Best described as a long, low, sleek piece of luxury and precision.
The Rover P6 series is a saloon car model produced from 1963 to 1977. It was voted European Car of the year in 1964, the very first winner of this title.
These Rovers were something of a revelation – a car way ahead of their time. One could say that these cars were tailor designed for discerning people with a bit of dash, who were really going places.
A most exciting car to drive, recent work on this NZ assembled Rover include Motor recondition some 10K miles ago. Dedion Tube removed from car, serviced with new seals & refitted to car with new dust boot. Rear shocks replaced & new rear coil springs fitted. Rear brake calipers removed and bored & sleeved. Re kitted & new rear disk pads fitted. Also has electronic ignition fitted.
Receipts and servicing history available and this is the more desirable POWER STEERING model.
Body, paint, interior, engine bay – all IMMACULATE and in SHOW CONDITION.
A high performance sporting saloon, which is great to drive. One that can be enjoyed as a daily driver – these Rovers can be driven continuously at speeds of above 108 miles an hour – without missing a beat.
The Rover P6 is the most successful Rover ever, which also marked an end of an era for Rover before British Leyland moved in.
P6's maintained to this standard and in this condition are hard to come by. DO NOT MISS OUT.

Waimak Classic Cars accepts that the vehicle being sold must be of “acceptable quality” in terms of section 7 of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (the Act) having regard to “the nature of the goods”.
Waimak Classic Cars is not aware of any specific defects with the vehicle, however (a) such a vehicle being a classic vehicle may have mechanical breakdowns, electrical failures at inconvenient times and maintenance costs being part of and parcel of ownership of a classic car; (b) reliability is a combination of the particular nature of the classic vehicle, how it is being driven, how it has been maintained, and to a certain extent luck.
The Purchaser acknowledges that the vehicle is being sold as a classic car; that in terms of the Act and the nature of the goods, the vehicle, is an old car that may have faults, unlike a modern motor vehicle.
The Purchaser is encouraged to personally fully inspect the vehicle and/or to have the vehicle inspected, fully assessed and maintained by an experienced classic car mechanic.
The Purchaser acknowledges that they have read and fully understand this notification and the nature of a car which is many years old.
