Rover 100 P4 1961

Specifications

Description

An Extremely Well Maintained, No Expense Spared Example – has to be one of the best in the country.

The Rover P4 was a group of cars produced from 1949 through to 1964. The P4 100 was introduced in 1960. Production ended in 1962, by which time 16,521 had been produced.

Its 2.6 L straight-6 engine was a short-stroke version of the P5 3-Litre unit. Brakes are servo-assisted Girling disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear. Overdrive is available on top gear only, which again is a standard factory fitting.

This car drives beautifully – excellent suspension, diff and gearbox – runs very smooth and quiet. Capable of reaching 100 mph (161 km/h).

Excellent motor. Good compression and oil pressure. Mechanics / electrics work as they should. Service and maintenance history available.

Body is very straight. Paint is nice and shiny. All doors shut properly. Chrome & Rubber in very good condition. Engine bay and car boot like new.

The interior is luxurious and in very good, original condition, with wood, chrome and leather accents on traditional English car elements like a curved "Shepherds Crook" handbrake lever. Comes with standard AM radio (not working) and heater.

Comes complete with factory tools, car jack / accessories, factory instruction manual and some parts.

PRICE FIRM. Car will be sold with a 6 month WOF and 12 months registration.

SHIPPING / TRANSPORT CAN BE ORGANISED ON BUYER'S BEHALF AT BUYERS COST.
