"Hi Jesmond & Gloria, Thank you so much for the wonderful surprise in mail last week. Even though we only had the car for a short time we enjoyed every moment. We trust the new owner will have lots of enjoyment and maybe we will sight it on the road one day. Thank you both so much for the wonderful service and communications and we certainly will recommend you to others."Bev & Peter Gallavin, Nelson
Morris Cowley was a name given to various cars produced by the Morris Motor Company from 1915 to 1958.
In 1926, the Bullnose radiator was replaced by a flat version known as the Flatnose. These cars were built by Morris till 1931.
The chassis was new and the suspension was updated with semi elliptic leaf springs all round plus Smiths friction type scissor shock absorbers. The brakes are rod and spring operated with cams inside the drums to actuate. Interesting to note that the rear brake drums include two sets of shoes, one of which is connected directly to the handbrake. The basic 'Hotchkiss type' of engine continued on from the Bullnose of previous years.
This Morris Cowley is BEAUTIFULLY DETAILED and presents incredibly well with an EXCELLENT standard of paint, SUPERB chrome and absolute MINT interior.
Driving the car is a great experience with a VERY GOOD original three speed gearbox and SUPERB original engine.
From driving the car you can immediately determine that this is an IMMACULATE EXAMPLE - a most fabulous car in every respect.
