"We are delighted to tell you that our MG has arrived safely in Auckland on schedule. We are thrilled as the car far exceeds our expectations and it looks stunning. Dealing with Jesmond has been easy and straight forward. Your media, the detailing of the car and your communication has been to a very high standard. We felt from the start we could place our trust in you and that you would deliver. This was done to our complete satisfaction and we are happy for you to tell others of our experience. It has been a pleasure dealing with you and we look forward to meeting you sometime as we feel we have got to know you so well. Best wishes for the future."Jane & Peter, Warkworth, Auckland
E Class is classier with Avantgarde!
With about a million sold worldwide since its launch in 2002, the current generation of Mercedes-Benz' E-class has been an undeniable success for its maker.
The V8-powered E500 Avantgarde with its 5.0-litre V8, a smooth, smart five-speed automatic and a brilliant drivetrain is astonishingly relaxed yet hugely potent, requiring little more than an ankle flex to demolish would-be challengers.
It's syrupy smooth and quiet, too, emitting only a cultured V8 yodel when pushed hard. The pay-off is a plush ride and hushed noise levels.
In default comfort mode the Benz air suspension soaks up lumps and bumps with little fuss. Sports settings offer respectively stricter control.
Bolstering the E's touring prowess is its pampering cabin with ample space, excellent seating, extensive adjustment and good design and quality.
At circa $165K when new, the E500 Avantgarde was one of the pricier mid-sized prestige players of its time. Even today, the E500 easily maintains its position at the sharp end of the luxury field at a laughing price when considering what one is getting for his money.
None can match the Benz when it comes to delivering an accomplished luxury experience.
