2020 MV Agusta Superveloce 800 Serie Oro
Specifications
Description
Phenomenal looking motorcycle - Pure Art!
The Superveloce 800 is the most unlikely of useable road-going sportsbikes.
Its riding position is not extreme and there’s lots of midrange grunt surging from its raucous three-cylinder motor.
There’s no question the new Superveloce 800 is all about style and sound.
ABOUT THIS BIKE
- This is one of three hundred Serie Oro's built - number 166 out of 300 - a very special and rare bike - very collectible.
- 800cc, Triple
- Weighs only 173 kgs.
- Epically Stunning Bike
- One owner from new in Singapore.
- Just imported by us - will be sold, complied, Wof'd and registered for first owner here in New Zealand.
- This 800 triple is beautifully equipped, finished and packed with tech and tasty equipment. The inline three-cylinder is a 'stroked' 675 supersport unit with titanium valves and a counter rotating crank.
- Peak power is 108kw/148hp at 13,000rpm and peak torque is 88Nm/64.9lbft at 10,600rpm.
- Chassis-wise it’s all-F3 800 - from its tubular steel frame and aluminium single-sided swingarm, to the fully adjustable Marzocchi forks, Sachs shock, Brembo monoblocs and Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa II rubber.
- The Superveloce is unique, a throwback to the ’70s when MV dominated racing. Paint finishes and attention to design and detail are textbook exotica. Fairing screws are hidden, the satin finished magnesium coloured wheels look fantastic and the Superveloce 800 is so posh it even wears a tiara. It’s individual and daring. It’s built and manufactured in Italy, produced by an iconic manufacturer with an eye for detail. Check out the single LED headlight and taillight, the protruding exhausts, the leather strap over the fuel tank, which is lavish, over the top and serves no purpose other than to catch the eye.
- Battery charger, Indoor cover and some other bits come with bike.
- A very capable machine.
MV Agusta models may be expensive but you can at least feel where your money is going and you’re getting a lot of speed, character technology, design and all-round handsomeness for the money, and it won’t disappoint if you can afford it.
The longer you stare at this bike, the more exquisite details you will see. It doesn't feel handmade - you can tell it came from a factory rather than a shed - but it also feels less mass-produced than more mainstream competition.
The question that remains is - is there a more desirable, sexier production bike on the market?
We think it’s jaw-droppingly beautiful, and underneath is a motor and handling to match. This is a true retro racer that could embarrass dedicated sports bikes on the track. You’ll fall in love every time you open your garage and press the starter button :)
Will be sold WOF'd and Registered IF sold in New Zealand.
