1989 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz V8

Specifications

Description

Cadillac downsized the Eldorado for this generation, placing the name on a shortened version of the E-body front wheel drive platform shared with the Oldsmobile Toronado and Buick Riviera. But where the other brands offered a V-6 engine, Cadillac used their proprietary 4.5-liter V-8, mounted transversely in the engine bay. The new Eldorado was available only as a two-door coupe.

ABOUT THIS CAR

  • For a 1989 with a 4.5 V8 with hp of 155, it runs more like it has much more hp. The ride is smooth and the car is responsive, comfortable, looks great and feels like a well build American car.
  • Lots of cool features this car has. Its peppy but has the smooth ride to go with it. The leather seats are so comfy and power reclining.
  • Dependable and handles very well . Gets pretty good gas mileage - 18 to 24 MPG.
  • Reliable and stylish
  • Good straight body and good paint - beautiful colour combination.
  • Interior clean and tidy
  • Boot looks like its never been used - even has automatic closure motor.
  • Clean engine bay
  • Runs and drives well - strong and quiet at the same time. It has power that you wouldn't think an older town car would have. When you push it goes!
  • The interior is roomy and comfortable enough to sleep in if you had to.
  • Everything inside and out looks as if it's 1990, all the digital instrumentation works perfectly, as well as the onboard 1990's computer console (state of the art for the 90's).
  • Imported in New Zealand in 2012 from Japan - first registered in NZ on Feb 2012.
  • Great car - I'd recommend it to anyone.

Personally, I've always loved the small style Cadillacs. This 4.5ltr engine was arguably the best engine Cadillac Ever built. It expressed what Cadillac stands for - Luxury and Dependability.

Car will be sold WOF'd and Registered.
