Wind Back Time
1966 Triumph 2000
Specifications
Description
There are few cars that capture the spirit of 1960s British motoring quite like the Triumph 2000!
The Triumph 2000 arrived in the mid-1960s as Britain's answer to the modern executive saloon, elegant, sophisticated, and powered by a smooth six-cylinder engine that made every journey feel effortless.
Styled by Giovanni Michelotti and built during one of the most celebrated periods of British motoring, the Triumph 2000 offered a level of refinement that belied its modest badge.
Today, surviving examples are becoming increasingly difficult to find, particularly those that retain the charm, character, and presence that made these cars so admired when new. More than sixty years on, the Triumph 2000 remains a wonderfully usable classic and a compelling reminder of an era when British engineering and design stood proudly on the world stage.
