1986 Rolls Royce Silver Spirit

Specifications

Description

Introduced in 1980, the Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit marked the beginning of a new era for the legendary British marque, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern engineering.

By 1986, the Silver Spirit had firmly established itself as one of the world's finest luxury saloons, offering an effortless combination of refinement, comfort and understated prestige. Hand-built at Rolls-Royce's Crewe factory, every example reflected the marque's uncompromising commitment to quality and attention to detail.

Powered by Rolls-Royce's renowned 6.75-litre V8 engine paired with a smooth automatic transmission, the Silver Spirit delivers the effortless, whisper-quiet performance for which the marque is famous. Its advanced self-levelling suspension provides the celebrated "magic carpet ride," while power-assisted steering and refined road manners make it surprisingly easy to drive despite its imposing presence.

Inside, the Silver Spirit is a showcase of traditional British luxury. Sumptuous Connolly leather upholstery, beautifully matched burr walnut veneers, deep Wilton carpets and meticulous hand-finished detailing create an atmosphere of timeless elegance. More than simply a motor car, the 1986 Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit represents a lifestyle of grace, sophistication and engineering excellence that remains every bit as captivating today as when it first left the factory.
