After looking for a while, and not having any particular marque in mind, we have just taken delivery of an Alfasud Ti; our first non British classic car. Bought site unseen from a specialist / collector dealer in North Canterbury, she’s a 2 owner 38000kms car that has been comprehensively restored. First impressions have been good, and the experience of dealing with Jesmond and Gloria was a positive one; they provided lots of information and answered any questions, but didn’t put any pressure on us to decide.
I had been trying to sell my classic car through “Trademe” for months with no success. A couple of people had mentioned Jesmond so in desperation I contacted him. He very promptly arranged to inspect the car and having already done his homework gave me an idea of what he could sell the car for and confirmed it in writing a day later. The “on behalf” deal was written up and I knew what was happening at all times with constant correspondence. The car sold in a couple of weeks and everything was taken care of by Jesmond. I am very happy with the result and felt I could trust him from the moment I met him. He’s too trust-worthy to be a car dealer. He’s more a car lover who helps others move on from their indulgences.

I have owned & run quite a number of classic performance cars over the years – and this time I brought a really nice little Ferrari from Jesmond
As I brought the car un-seen I needed to totally trust Jesmond & his company if we were going to do business on an older Ferrari.
I was not disappointed – he is NO second-hand car dealer – more a collector. Every aspect regarding buying an older performance motorcar of this type was covered professionally and in a timely manner.
Not one of my questions and many requests were forgotten through-out the process of perhaps buying the proposed Ferrari.
The car was just as he had described and he even paid for the inspection at his own cost. Not an issue.
I must say I couldn’t have been more pleased with this company and even when the transaction was well & truly finished.
Jesmond’s team followed-up more than a couple of times to make sure I was 100% happy with my new car and if I had any questions in regards to on-going ownership.

Having bought this car site unseen, it was exactly to the standard described. Jesmond even went as far to see to all any repairs it required prior to me collecting it. He never cut corners. I can only say that it was a very good experience dealing with Jesmond. Very honest and reliable people whom I would recommend to others.
