It delivers genuine driving enjoyment, unmistakable character and the thrill of open-top motoring, all wrapped up in one of Britain’s most celebrated sports car designs. For enthusiasts seeking a classic that is equally rewarding to own, drive and admire, the Big Healey remains a particularly compelling choice.

Introduced in 1956 as the successor to the original four-cylinder Austin-Healey 100, the 100/6 brought greater refinement, a longer wheelbase and the smooth power delivery of a 2.6-litre straight-six engine. Developed through the collaboration of Donald Healey and the British Motor Corporation, it represented an important chapter in the evolution of the legendary Big Healey family. With its four-speed manual gearbox, rear-wheel drive and wonderfully distinctive exhaust note, the 100/6 provides an engaging and thoroughly enjoyable driving experience that continues to delight enthusiasts nearly seven decades later.

Today, the Austin-Healey 100/6 is firmly established as a desirable and highly collectible British sports car, enjoying strong marque recognition and an enthusiastic international following. Its timeless styling, sporting heritage and established collector appeal make it an attractive proposition for buyers seeking both enjoyment and long-term ownership satisfaction. Supported by excellent specialist knowledge, parts availability and an active worldwide enthusiast community, the 100/6 offers a wonderful opportunity to experience the golden era of British motoring in a classic that is as much fun to drive as it is beautiful to behold.
