Waimak Classic Cars was proud to participate in the 2026 Classic Cover Ellerslie Car Show and Concours d’Elegance, held at Auckland’s famous Ellerslie Racecourse. Widely regarded as New Zealand’s premier classic car event, the show has been a highlight of the motoring calendar since 1972 and attracts thousands of enthusiasts from across the country.
The event brought together an extraordinary collection of classic, vintage, and collector vehicles, ranging from concours-winning restorations to significant survivor cars and club displays representing marques from around the world. At the heart of the show was the prestigious Intermarque Concours d’Elegance, one of the most respected classic car judging competitions in New Zealand.
For Waimak Classic Cars, the Ellerslie Concours provided an outstanding opportunity to showcase our passion for preserving and presenting exceptional collector motorcars. Throughout the day, we enjoyed meeting fellow enthusiasts, collectors, restorers, and industry professionals who share a commitment to protecting New Zealand’s motoring heritage.
The quality of vehicles on display was exceptional, with many examples representing years of painstaking restoration work and historical preservation. The event once again demonstrated the depth and strength of New Zealand’s classic car community and its growing reputation on the international collector car stage.
