Waimak Classic Cars was proud to be part of the 2025 Classic Cover Ellerslie Car Show and Concours d’Elegance, New Zealand’s most prestigious celebration of classic and collector motorcars. Held at Auckland’s iconic Ellerslie Racecourse, the event brought together some of the finest vehicles from across the country, showcasing exceptional standards of restoration, preservation, and automotive craftsmanship.
The Ellerslie Concours has long been regarded as the pinnacle of New Zealand’s classic motoring calendar, attracting collectors, restorers, enthusiasts, and industry professionals who share a passion for automotive excellence. The 2025 event continued that tradition, with an outstanding display of vehicles spanning more than a century of motoring history.
For Waimak Classic Cars, the event provided an opportunity to showcase a selection of significant collector vehicles while engaging with fellow enthusiasts and celebrating the remarkable heritage of the automobile. Throughout the day, visitors admired an extraordinary range of machinery, from elegant vintage tourers and pre-war classics to iconic sports cars, luxury grand tourers, and concours-standard restorations.
A particular highlight was the exceptional quality of vehicles presented for judging. The level of detail, authenticity, and craftsmanship demonstrated by owners and restorers reflected the dedication required to preserve these important pieces of motoring history. The event served as a reminder that classic cars are not merely vehicles, but rolling works of art and engineering that deserve to be preserved for future generations.
The Ellerslie Concours also provided a valuable opportunity to connect with collectors and enthusiasts from throughout New Zealand, exchanging stories, technical knowledge, and a shared appreciation for the world’s great automotive marques.
