Waimak Classic Cars was honoured to participate in the inaugural Ayrburn Classic in 2025, a landmark event that immediately established itself as one of New Zealand’s premier celebrations of automotive culture, collector vehicles, and luxury lifestyle.
Set within the spectacular grounds of Ayrburn near Arrowtown, the event combined world-class motoring with the stunning scenery of Central Otago, creating a truly unique experience for enthusiasts, collectors, and visitors from across New Zealand and abroad.
As one of the exhibitors at this first-ever Ayrburn Classic, Waimak Classic Cars was proud to showcase a selection of significant collector vehicles alongside some of the finest automobiles in the country. The event attracted an extraordinary range of machinery, from vintage and classic cars through to rare European sports cars, luxury grand tourers, modern supercars, and historically important collector vehicles.
The inaugural event exceeded expectations in every respect. Thousands of visitors attended over the course of the festival, enjoying not only the exceptional vehicles on display but also Ayrburn’s renowned hospitality, food, wine, entertainment, and stunning surroundings. The atmosphere was relaxed, sophisticated, and unmistakably world-class, reflecting the quality of both the venue and the vehicles presented.
For Waimak Classic Cars, the Ayrburn Classic provided an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow collectors, enthusiasts, industry professionals, and prospective clients while celebrating a shared passion for automotive excellence. The event highlighted the strength of New Zealand’s collector car community and demonstrated the growing international appeal of the country’s classic and specialist vehicle scene.
A particular highlight was the calibre of vehicles assembled for the event. Rare marques, significant historic automobiles, concours-quality restorations, and important collector cars were displayed throughout the grounds, creating one of the most impressive automotive gatherings seen in New Zealand in recent years.
