Waimak Classic Cars was proud to attend and participate in the Art Deco Napier 2026, one of New Zealand’s most iconic cultural and motoring events. Set against the stunning backdrop of Napier’s world-famous Art Deco architecture, the festival once again transported visitors back to the elegance, style, and optimism of the 1920s and 1930s.
The event attracted thousands of visitors from throughout New Zealand and overseas, all drawn by the unique combination of vintage motoring, period fashion, music, entertainment, and heritage. For Waimak Classic Cars, it was a privilege to be part of a celebration that honours not only remarkable automobiles but also one of the most distinctive eras in modern history.
Throughout the festival, the streets of Napier came alive with an extraordinary display of vintage, veteran, and classic vehicles. From elegant pre-war tourers and luxury saloons to sporting roadsters and grand touring machines, the quality and authenticity of the vehicles on display created a truly unforgettable spectacle.
Waimak Classic Cars was delighted to showcase a selection of significant collector vehicles while engaging with enthusiasts, collectors, historians, and visitors from around the world. The event provided a wonderful opportunity to share stories of automotive heritage and celebrate the craftsmanship, engineering, and artistry that define the world’s great motorcars.
One of the highlights of Art Deco Napier is the way it brings history to life. The sight of beautifully dressed participants mingling among vintage automobiles, historic aircraft displays, and the beautifully preserved streetscape creates an atmosphere unlike any other event in New Zealand.
